Where to Find Us

Golf Trolley Works is based in the east end of Glasgow, one minute from junction 2A of the M74, giving customers easy access from all over the central belt and down the Ayrshire coast. GTW can arrange pickup and delivery of ride on golf buggies at a reasonable cost, within a 10-mile radius of our workshop.

Customers bring their ride on golf buggies to GTW because they have found it difficult to get an effective repair at other local facilities. We have a 1200 square foot factory unit which is well equipped. Using the latest fault-finding equipment, we can identify problems and carry out maintenance, service and repairs in our fully equipped workshop and we keep a range of spare parts for all the major brands of buggies. Wheels, axles, on-off switches, twist grips, controllers, motors and gearboxes etc. Our priority is to keep the repair time to a minimum and get golfers back on the course with their buggies, as quickly as possible.

Batteries and Chargers

We are a Motocaddy approved service centre and battery test centre. We keep a supply of batteries which can be adapted to any brand of electric golf buggy. Should you find that your buggy is losing power throughout your round of golf, we can test your battery and the charger.

Our battery test facility has Alpha Bat Pro, Powercheck, Astratec Lead acid and Lithium capacity, both 12 volts and 24 volts, as well as an Astratec Charger tester, and new chargers in stock.

The last few years has seen the introduction of Lithium batteries for use on electric golf buggies. Lithium batteries can be used on any brand of buggy. With more power, longer life, their extreme reduction in weight from traditional batteries (less than half the weight!), and a 3 year warranty, these batteries are quickly becoming a popular item with buggy owners.
